What you’ll need for about 20 cookies (A whole jar full of yumm):
– 120 gram butter
– 70 gram (brown) sugar (The browner the sugar the darker the cookies)
– 180 gram plain flour
– ½ teaspoon baking soda
– big pinch of salt (and a bit for love)
– 1 egg
– a dash (about a teaspoon) vanilla essence (optional)
– Handful (about 220 gram) of good quality chocolate chips

Blend the butter and sugar together with a mixer or wooden spoon, until creamy.
Add the egg and vanilla essence (optional) and beat until mixed.
Bit by bit you can start adding the flour mix (flour +salt+baking soda), mix well.
Combine the chocolate chips to the dough.

Take a small amount of dough (about a teaspoon), roll it into a small ball and gently press it flat in your hand to shape the cookie.
Place the cookie on a piece of baking paper on a baking tray, and repeat until your dough is finished. Make sure to leave some space between the cookies as they too can feel the love and grow towards each other.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180ºC or Gas4 for about 12 – 15 mins.

Once they’re cooled off, be sure to wrap a stack in a little cellophane bag with a pretty ribbon and share it with love!
